Stanley Eisenman Fine Shoes was born in 1950 (the same year as Stanley!) in Fort Worth, Texas. Started by David Eisenman at The Fair, a family owned department store, the company operated the shoe salons until moving in 1964. The next home was another department store called Monnig's, which the Eisenmans called home until 1987.

Realizing the specialty nature of the shoe business and wanting to capitalize on a unique buying perspective, Stanley opened his own stores in 1987. What makes Stanley Eisenman Fine Shoes so special is the combination of designer brands with a special emphasis on hard-to-find sizes, from 4 to 12 in AAAA to B widths.
